- Hello, I did go to the doctor for my snoring problem, he read the ingredients on the package and said that there is Arsenicum in the tablets. I looked up Arsenicum in a medical dictionary and it said it was arsenic, since arsenic is a poison, how is it safe to take SnoreStop? Could you please tell me more about the ingredients in Snorestop and what the side effects could be? Any risk of overdosage?

- Homeopathic medications, including SnoreStop, are considered generally safe and free of harmful side effects and drug interactions. Each ingredient in SnoreStop products is either from mineral, botanical, or protein sources. Unlike standard herbal formulas these ingredients are present only in microscopic amounts because the original substance ( in that case Arsenicum album ) has been diluted to a 12X potency ( meaning twelve sequential dilutions in a ratio of one part of substance against 9 parts of a solution of water and alcohol has been applied to the original plant extract) . The end result is that for a final content of 0.000000000043mg/tablet, Arsenicum 12X is absolutely untraceable and its alkaloid content (the component sometimes associated with side effects) at 0.0000000000043mg even less.... At this level of one-part-per-trillion our Arsenicum 12X is safe, non-toxic and cannot be overdosed. The same mode of reasoning can apply to Nux vomica 4X ( one-part-per-ten thousand ), Belladonna 6X or Ephedra 6X ( one-part-per-million ).

Unlike herbal products, Homeopathic medications, such as SnoreStop, are regulated by the FDA and are subject to the 1938 Food and Drug Act. The official approved ingredient list is the Homeopathic Pharmacopoea of the United States (HPUS). All SnoreStop ingredients have an official monograph in that book and are prepared according to drug regulations in an FDA approved Laboratory. The original Maximum Strength Formula was developed by a physician, Dr. Rifkin and used successfully in his private practice. - 13. What are the suggested dosages?
- For SnoreStop Maximum Strength, SnoreStop-2 Breathe Easy and SnoreStop Multi Allergy Formula chewable tablets: At bedtime, while lying in bed, chew or suck one tablet each night for the first ten days . At the end of 10 days if you notice sufficient and steady improvement, try taking one tablet every other night as a maintenance dosage. The Extinguisher, is the spray version of the Maximum Strength formula and the suggested dosage is a single spray under the tongue and another aimed at the back of the throat just at bedtime, while lying in bed. In some cases you'll need to take an extra dose 30 minutes before bedtime.
